Combining the reviews for a pro/con list should give you a good idea
of how they perform and behave.
As far as the Canons go, the A80 (Ax0-series) is heavier than the
smaller Sxx0-series, but includes a better manual mode and it also
takes accessory lenses and (polarizing and other) filters thru the
use of a 52mm threaded lens adapter!
I certainly value that possiblility with my A60, but from my
experience with the limitations of 2 megapixels i will recommend
getting 4 megapixels as it will make your camera last longer, and
that's not a bad thing concidering the cost of these cameras.
